As part of our value add, we wanna make sure that the best talent joins high scale startups with at least one female founder. We do this through our very own Amela Talent Branch.
Why Join as a Candidate?
- Access to Vetted Companies: All companies with access to look into our pool of candidates are vetted by us. This means we believe they are 1. looking to scale fast, 2. they are led by women founders or strong allies into our mission.
- Get Approached instead of Hunting: As a candidate it can be really tedious to apply to several jobs, through our Talent Branch, we turn this around. You no longer have to go apply one by one to each job, instead, your profile is visible to our vetted companies and you get approached by them when there is a fit. Fewer people are in our talent pool compared to LinkedIn this means you have higher visibility.
- Support an equitable Startup Ecosystem: We spend so much time working for others as individuals, if you are gonna devote a good portion of your time to work for someone, why not make it meaningful? On average most female led startups tend to be impact driven!

How does it work?
- Apply: You can join the Amela talent branch through this link. You will be asked to answer a few questions that will enable us to get to know your job preferences better (i.e. do you want to work remotely, or hybrid, are you looking to work at a super early stage startup or on a startup that has raised multiple rounds, etc…).
- Get a confirmation on your acceptance: If our Talent Branch Manager sees a potential fit for your profile in the types of companies we have, you will get accepted into the branch. If you don’t get a confirmation on your acceptance, that probably means that there was no fit.
- Wait: We are actively working to add more and more companies to hire from our network, but in the meantime you will only be reached out if a company in our network sees a fit for you.
FAQs
- Do I need to pay to be part of the network? No, as a candidate you will never be asked to pay to be part of our talent pool.
- What determines whether I get accepted into the talent pool? Usually startups look for employees with previous experience in the field that the role they hiring for. Thus, experienced hires looking to change into a similar role will be prioritized.
